Helpful SureClose Hint for Today (Posting the Escrow Number on a Listing File)

So, if you are a SureClose user I'm not sure if you noticed this yet or not but there is no place on the Summary page to post your escrow number on a listing file. Want to know why???? The developer of the software is from Southern California. In Southern California, the escrow is not typically opened until after the property sells. So, there really wasn't a need for an escrow number to be posted. Now, in Northern California, we are different aren't we? We like to get those escrows open as soon as we have a listing so we can be ready to overcome any title obstacles BEFORE the property sells. So, here is your helpful hint for today: Add your escrow number as a "general term" in the Terms section of the listing file. This way you will have quick and easy access to your escrow number should you need it.

You really open an Escrow file as soon as you get the listing?

i knew the 2 Californias were different, but didn't know this. Here in sunny So. Cal we go to Escrow after a sale, but use the Profile for a quick look at possible Title problems.

Hey, Kathy! Where have you been lately??? It is good to hear from you. I hope all is well for you. Yes, in Northern California we open escrow as soon as we have disclosures. Most often, the seller also completes at least a property and termite inspection. Contingency removals are also "active".

Hi Beth,

I was reading a ton of different posters, and trying to get my transactions onto Sure Close........sometimes I miss working with people so much that i have to stay off the computer except for checking emails :)

I've seen you on a lot of threads though, so know you have been busy. How's work?
