Which One Will Get There First?

Now Which One will Get There First by Sandy Shores

I couldn't help but think that if someone dropped a piece of food in between these two, which one would get it first?  It seems that the poor tortoise didn't stand a chance.

But he had just finished a delicious lunch of carrots and greens.

But, in the story of the tortoise and the hare, didn't the tortoise win?

Slow and steady wins the race.

Hmm.  I think the duck wins easily, but it would also depend on what you drop and where.  Those tortoises have some long quick necks on them.

Is it my imagination, or does that duck look a little worried?

I'm voting on the turtle. I have a feeling the duck is about to head off in the wrong direction ;-)

Maybe they are buds, and the duck will feed the tortoise!

Hi Sandy, I worry if you dropped food in between them little ducky might get his neck snapped-- I vote for the tortoise on all counts.  They seem like an odd pair to be in the same photo.

Sandy

I would vote for the duck to get the food and be out of there before the duck could react.

Good luck and success.
