Just came across this great little device that will be totally cool when it comes out next year!! This device will allow you take credit card payments through your cell phone without the huge overhead of having a credit card machine or paying $$ for "PayPal". You have got to check it out!!

Ryan -- this looks like a very cool little device! However I enjoy using Costco's Virtual Merchant and it's just as easy -- all you do is use your computer whenever you want to process a payment online, 24/7. There is no "machine." The monthly cost is just $8.00 plus .28 per transaction + a very competitive % per transaction ... it's very cost-effective and takes only 1 minute to process a payment.

You can call Costco's Virtual Merchant team at 800-336-2621 or go to myvirtualmerchant.com to see a demo of the service.

There is also a % fee of each transaction ... but their fees are extremely competitive. Good luck!

Chris, I love this gadget! I take credit cards and can process them over the cell phone but don't have this dandy little gadget. Keep us posted and let us know if this works for you!

As a word of caution: I had a friend how had her bank account cleared out by a credit card company who put their new machine in a restaurant. The restaurant used the new credit card company to decrease their credit card expenses. They soon found out the new credit card company who sold them the machine was downloading credit card numbers and cleaning out accounts. Feds got involved and my friend got all but $50 back. Be careful,be sure to do background checks.
