Yes - Dan it was a little chilly - but then again I didn't wear shorts :)

George - everyone had a great time, there was even quite of bit of dancing.  If your around you should take in one of the concerts.  They are really a good time.

Glad you had a great 4th - Look forward to your pictures.  We went to Maine for a few days - very relaxing - just got back.  Now I have to catch up on everything because there was no email, or cell service up there!

Sorry to hear your pictures did not come out well....taking pictures of fireworks are very difficult. Takes lots of practice. Too bad I was looking forward to them, since I did not get a chance to see any fireworks on the 4th.

I was driving up to Maine on the 4th. Kinda saw some fireworks as we were crossing the bridge from New Hampshire into Maine, but I don't think that counts. LOL

I love fireworks, which is why I was so looking forward to your pictures! Oh, well maybe, I will get to see some next year.  I'm glad you had such a good time on the 4th, sounds like you really enjoyed yourself. Now tell me, just between you and me.  Did you get up and dance?

You didn't dance with your daughter? I'm very surprised, all little girls love dancing with their dads. You will have to make sure you do that the next time. She will always remember that : )

I also enjoy people watching. It's a great thing to do when you are at an large event.

Rainbows and fireworks! Both very difficult subjects. Problem is both require lots of practice and there are not many chances to take photos of them. LOL
