Like everywhere else in the country Edisto Island has had a huge price correction. May clients have jumped at bargain priced homes and condos. No surprise there. What is still amazing to me is that vacant land DEALS are every where. I have 2 lots in Palmetto Point for $74,000 each. These are prime lots in every way. They are "high and dry", homesite cleared and level, and have huge Live Oaks. Oversized at .5 acre each. At this price clients could even consider a buying both and putting a conservation easement on one for significant tax credits.
They are walking distance to Live Oak State Park, which has a newly upgraded boat ramp and 2 fishing docks. The park is over 900 acres and includes numerous hiking and biking trails.
