- Saturday, December 19 to Monday, December 21 - BALLET PERFORMANCE.  Eglevsky Ballet presents the NUTCRACKER 2009, featuring Violeta Angelova and Momchil Mladenov of Suzanne Farrell Ballet Company on Dec. 19 at 2 PM and 7 PM, Dec. 20 at 2 PM and Dec. 21 at 6 PM at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, C.W. OYSTER BAY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

OYSTER BAY TOWN HISTORIAN JOHN HAMMOND HAS WRITTEN A NEW BOOK: "IMAGES OF OYSTER BAY", featuring over 200 vintage photographs.  The book is available at area bookstores, online, or via Arcadia Publishing (www.arcadiapublishing.com or 888-313-2665).  A portion of the proceeds of the book's sales will go to the Angela P. Koenig Research and Collections Center Building Fund of the Oyster Bay Historical Society.
