"Now you have!"
No, I have never seen a painted donkey before but now I have and I thought it was adorable.
Betty
They actually do this to real donkeys in Mexico. Very sad actually. So....where exactly in your yard would you put something like this.....
My daughter started collecting a series of porcelain (ceramic maybe) painted ponies a few years ago. The series is called "The trail of the painted ponies". Artists from around the world contribute to the series, and collectors vie for the ones that are retiring. It can get expensive keeping up, but at least I know what to buy her for birthdays and Christmas.
This reminds me of the "Party Animals" they had a few years ago. There were decorated donkeys and elephants that were displayed in public places then auctioned off to raise money for local charities.
Cool no I have never seen a painted donkey before this one. Thanks for sharing it is an usual painted donkey.
LOL! We had painted Mastadons a few years ago for IPFW up here in Fort Wayne. Looks like fun!!
Bob, thanks, that is one more thing that I can cross off my list! LOL At least they did a good job painting it.
Thank you everyone for your comments and this is not a real donkey, I think it is made from wood. It is a very large donkey and this photograph was taken in Lincoln New Mexico.
VB ;o)
VB - I have not seen a painted donkey, but I have seen painted dolphins in my town.
Robert - Toronto has more than it's share of moose ... perhaps Sylvie can be encouraged to do a moose post
I was going to say that's one patient A$$ then realized he wasn't real! :-)
Hey Kathy - the whole time i was in Toronto I only saw two of those "Moose" - one at the CN Tower and the other enroute to Niagara.........where are the rest! I did a post on Orcas in Vancouver - cool how every city has something!
This little donkey just sends me right over the "I love Mexico" cliff. Had to comment.
And BTW Bob, visually, you are everything I want Las Vegas to look like :)
I'm just sayin'
Namaste!
