7 Comments on Bristow, VA: First Snow Day of 2009 Winter Season
Hi Chris Ann-Better you than us. It is just 34* and raining. YUCK!!!! I know folks who have lived in the south all their lives love it when there is snow but when you lived in all your life like I did in NY I truly do miss it. I do like the fact that when we do get it, it is gone FAST. Get pic though. Pretty!!!! Thank you for the e-mail. Watch for that something shortly. <SMILE>
Chris Ann, Pretty as a picture..but if you are done playing with the white stuff could you send it on North we in the Ski industry could use a shot of the white-gold for our snow business...Thanks in advance!
Ow, how pretty! we've had just a litle snow once. I'm hoping for more before Christmas.
Very pretty, and you are right. There is nothing like a snow day to put me in the holiday mood too. We were supposed to get a little snow today, but got rain instead. Oh well, I'll just dream of a white Christmas!
Chris Ann,
that is a postcard-type photo. You're right, you opught to be able to get into a festive mood with this. Have fun decorating. :)

Sharon: I'll be looking for your email. As for snow, I've lived in Northern VA all my life and I love snow. I must be some sort of misplaced freak. :)
Steve: I don't know that I have enough hot air in me to do the job, but after watching Jesse Ventura's new show Conspiracy Theory, you might want to call up the Air Force base in Alaska that houses HAARP to fire it up. Evidently there is a military radio frequency deal up there that can affect the weather. I am not even joking.
Leslie: Nothing is as special as snow at the holidays.
Eve: I would rather snow than a cold rain any winter day.
Steve: Thanks. Got to get motivated here and away from the computer.
