Being Sick = LAME

UGH...If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you will already know that I have been sick since last Friday. Finally went to the doctor on Monday, and without going into too much detail, I have been experiencing more pain in the last week than I have in my entire life. Thanks to my doctor (and a cocktail of antibiotics and painkillers) I should be back to normal soon. This photo is of one of my medicine bottles...I think warning #2 on the label is completely random and hilarious. Do foods really have "hidden sources of alcohol?"

Anyway, I have to return to at least light duty next week, as I have two new listings hitting the market. One is a short sale in Antelope, and the other is a regular transaction (yep, non-short sales, and non-foreclosures still exist!!) in Rosemont.

I caught a "little cold" just about 5 days before Thanksgiving. All seemed well by Thanksgiving eve and even TG morning. A little residual congestion... Then Thanksgiving afternoon, it's like it came back as a tornado. Fast forward two weeks- last night I slept 10 hours. I'm a person who thinks 6 hours straight sleep is magnificent! I haven't slept 10 hours in 20 years. There's plenty of nasty stuff going around with no need for H1N1, that's for sure!

My mom used to make a rum cake that would give you a little buzz if you were not careful.  It was good and had a slight rum after taste but just faintly.  I'm not a big cake eater so I gave it to my nephew.  He ate it and asked for more, thats when I found out that the cake had a proof to it.  It did not take long for him to lay on the couch and go to sleep.

This time of year alcohol can be easily hidden in food (rum balls, liquor soaked chocolate covered cherries, etc).

Hi Erin!
This is hilarious!  Do they make dried alcohol now that they can disguise in pills? Interesting!
