Living in Braemar: Proximity to Shop
One of the great things about living in Braemar, especially on a snow day, is the proximity to shops. If you aren't comfortable driving in the snow, but need milk, you can walk to Safeway. And before you head back home, stop into Caribou Coffee and have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Want a bite to eat? There is a Subway and Arby's for faster meals, and an Asian Garden if you think you'd like to sit down and enjoy being served your meal.
The Braeamar Village Plaza also boasts a Bank of America and Chevy Chase Bank. Safeway owns the gas station (hadn't seen one of those until movng out here.) You can buy carpet, take your animal to Caring Hands Animal Hospital, visit the chiropractor, have a manicure or pedicure, drop the kids off to tae kwon do, dance or Kindercare. You can even drop a package off for Fed Ex at Postnet.
All this is conveniently located at the intersection of Linton Hall Road and Sudley Manor Drive, just inside the confines of the Braemar community. Just add proximity to shops as another reason to investigate a single family home or townhouse in Braemar. There is something here for every buyer.
