Fall
has arrived here in Temecula....
.
Fall is always a welcome change for me after the hot summer. I know many do not live here however
have interest in moving here so I thought I would give you a bit of
info for our weather change. After the the heat of the summer that
usually runs all the way through October, we do see
some of the leaves change to the beautiful bright orange red
color.
Here
in Temecula,
a couple days before Thanksgiving it finally seemed to arrive. It was
cooler, maybe 70 degrees. the air was dry so it felt a little colder. A
bit of wind came as it always seems to around this time. It gets a
little dryer and every year.... just as my peach tree leaves change
color, the wind seems to come and blow them away.
The grape vines in
the wine county or in our backyards have gone dormant. The mornings and
nights are much colder. Okay... it usually still warms ups to around 70
degrees most of the time but never the less, you can feel fall in the
air.
They say we are expected to have rain here next week which is always
welcome due to the fact that we truly need it! I do like the rainy days
because they are few and far in-between our beautiful sunny days. It
actually snowed here in the morning about 5 years ago. It was so
beautiful. It started snowing about 5:00 am and done about 8:30. I
loved it because it is so rare. Our mornings can be cold enough to
handle it but once the sun is up, it cannot sustain it.
Whether
cloudy or sunny it is always beauiful here because of all the hills
surrounding us with great views everywhere. When it is cloudy the hills
seem to glow and when it is sunny it is just simply beautiful so I just
do not see a down side to this beautiful place to live! Come and visit

Hi Dianne, I have driven through the wine country and know how beautiful it is. The hot air balloon pictures are wonderful.
