You have a pretty good chance of winning when you have a 70 ton U.S. Abrams M-1 tank supporting you.

The Cheshire High School football team will be playing for the state title against Satples - Westport team .  The game was postponed due to the weather and will be played today, Sunday December 6th at 2:00pm at West Haven's Ken Strong Stadium.

The team has the support of our troops in Afghasistan. They are very excited to play the game but they are also excited because they have a lot of support from our troops in Afghanistan. A car magnet of the CHS football team was placed on a tank located in Afghanistan.  The magnet was sent by a Cheshire resident to a soldier friend.  When he heard Cheshire was in the state championship, he placed it on a tank and took these pictures.  His entire platoon are now rooting for the RAMS!!!
