Sometimes all the staging accessories that we can find can never do as much justice as God's wonderful creation. Today I finished staging a home in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey and if I had the 1- plus million they are asking for it I would have bought it in a heartbeat. WHY??? Get ready for this......

LOOK AT THAT VIEW!! The only staging accessories I was about to put on this deck were my 2 adirondack chairs and table. Why compete with God's creation?

This house is a beautiful 3 story home that boasts spectacular views from just about any room. This deck is right off the Master Bedroom. Can't you just picture yourself having coffee every morning from this deck?

I had a great time staging this home. The client lost her mom a year ago and has been working on preparing this home for sale. It was my pleasure to help her mom's dream come alive. When her mom passed away, most of the house had not been completed as yet. When I viewed the property for the first time there was much construction in progress and much of the furniture was left in place. We carefully chose what would stay and what needed to go and supplemented the rest with rental furniture and my inventory of accessories.

I kept the design plan simple and clean because to me, the selling feature of this home are the views and as a Professional Home Stager I wanted to make sure that each and every buyer noticed them first and was not distracted with "stuff". I accomplished my goal and hope to hear that this house has SOLD very soon!!

Beautiful views for sure!!  When you see something like that, it's hard to add anything else to make it even better, but that table and chairs sure looks inviting.

Wow, Phyllis!  What a view!  How wise of you not to try to compete with that!

Hmm...$1 mil? Want to go 'halvsies' on it with me?!!

Hi Phyllis,

I hosted this open house this past Sunday with the listing agent, Jayne Camlin.  The home looks absolutely beautiful and all the buyers coming through thought the same.  I could of sat outside all day just enjoying the view of Sandy Hook Bay and the Atlantic with NYC in the background.  Great job!!

Wow - Phyllis, that view is stunning.  One of my favorite parts of the job is to be able to go into some of these homes.

The house really is a beautiful home with a beautiful view and a great enclosed patio for entertaining.

Hey Charles thanks for commenting, and I know you must have enjoyed just lounging out on the deck as much as I did (just for a minute) today. PS: Who ate all the chocolates?? LOL

Phyllis, you asked for my humble opinion on this?  It's perfect!  Green is a grounding color which offsets but doesn't interfere with the beautiful water element and two chairs together, (slightly facing eachother, these things are important:)  symbolizes "partnerships."  I can see a couple coming to see this house and falling in love.  Your are Feng Shuing and I'm not sure you know it!  Now let's watch it sell....FAST!
