The Old Time Radio Players - Grants Pass, Oregon

The Old Time Radio Players of Grants Pass Oregon are benefiting the Josephine County Food Bank.

When I grew up in the 1940's, there were no television sets -- The family gathered around the radio and listened to programs like "Fibber McGee and Molly,"  "Gangbusters," "The Shadow," "Amos and Andy," "Inner Sanctum," and others.

Your imagination filled in the scenery and faces, kind of like TV in your mind!

For those who wish to reminisce or for those who'd like to see "how it was," The Old Time Radio Players are having their Winter Variety Show featuring "Fibber McGee and Molly."Old Time Radio Players

Performances will be December 11, 12 and 13th at the Grants Pass Community Center on the corner of 4th and "L" Street.  Come join The Old Time Radio Players for an evening of music, song and dance.  Your attendance will help The Old Time Radio Players support the Josephine County Food Bank, because "...no one should be hungry!"

I was overwhelmed when I read your article. I am a retired ACTOR of 30 years, and have my accomplishments. The greates thing is, I am such a gigantic fan of OLD TIME RADIO...I must have 1000 CD's of shows back to when. Also I grew up with Rick and David Nelson, and was close to Rick. I did several of the Ozzie and Harriett shows, as a walk on, while still in High School, at Hollywood High. I have since retired in Grants Pass, because my wife contracted Breast Cancer, and wanted to be with our family, just in case. Thank God she is 6 years clean, and doing great. I, on the other hand, am going insane...I worked on a producion "CONVERSATION WITH GOD" in Ashland, for Steven Simon, and that's about it in Grants Pass. I really don't know what to say, other than, I would give anything to meet someone, and contribute my talent, in any way. I have done various voice overs, Co Stars, you name it, I probably have done it.

I became interested in the 70's when I was a Disc Dockey at KMPC in Los Angele. Actually on Sunset, in Hollywood. Could someome one PLEASE drop me a note, to tell me if I mightby chance look interesting to you, and maybe meet. It would be my life's dream to contribute again.
