Buyer's Market:  On the Scale of 1 to 5, Kaufman County is at about a 2 for being a Buyer's Market.

Labor Market:  During the months of July and August, Kaufman County jobs increased by 346. But job seekers increased as well, making the unemployment rate increase from 7.7% in the Second quarter to 8.7% in the first two months of the Third Quarter. The good news is that with the increase in job numbers along with the low mortgage rates, Kaufman County could certainly see an increase in home sales and home affordability.
