Today, my older grandson turns 17 -- my goodness where has the time gone.

Wilson Antley turns into a man today --

Wilson Antley

no, no --

not the little boy who used to sit on my lap for hours while we discussed dinosaurs

not the little boy who would sit and draw dinosaurs for hours

not the little boy who loves trains as he got older

not the little boy who asked me about a "surci" every time he saw me

not the young man who loved to write stories

not the young man who loved to walk around the property while reading a book -- actually, he still does this.

His Grandfather and I are very proud of the young man Wilson has become.  I know sometimes, he probably doesn't think so, because from time to time, we have to be harsh with him -- as every parent and grandparent has to do.

Wilson,  I love you -- you are very special to me, always has been and always will be.
