Today was the unveiling of the newly "staged" listing on Woodland in Barre. It wasn't really staged so much as I spotted the owners a staging/interior decorating consultation.
I had the highest priced listing on the Barre Caravan today, and the highest by, what, $50,000? Knowing that, I was concerned about the feedback I'd get from the other agents.
But I shouldn't have worried. As they came into the house, they fell silent. I watched them look around and get little smiles on their faces. People lingered. Agents talked about how bright, how cheerful, how clean, how open the house looked.
Now, the house looked pretty good to begin with, but I'm sure the staging consultation really helped put the icing on the cake.
Continuing the dessert cliches, the proof is in the pudding. We'll see how and when the offers come in, and I'll keep everyone in Active Rain updated.
