This is the Real World and Facts are Facts!

Before I even get started in this post I would like everyone to know (Vegas Bob hasn't watched television or any news channels for around 10 years now)!

Hundreds of thousands of employed workers will be out of jobs just before and after going into the new year of 2010.

The buildings within the "City Center Project in Las Vegas are complete on the outside but there are 3-4 buildings that will sit empty for 6-12 months into 2010.

Well someone may ask how would Vegas Bob know this if he doesn't watch the news, because I just worked all of 2009 on The Harmon Building. And The Harmon building is one of the buildings that will be empty and incomplete inside.

City Center has hired thousands of employees to work at City Center but for the most part the hundreds of thousands of workers that are being laid off from other businesses, etc., out numbers the hiring that has taken place at City Center.

I am sorry to say that this wave of unemployment usually starts on the East & West coasts and works it's way towards the middle of the country.

Please try and keep your "Chins Up" and budget every last penny you can because you are going to need every last penny you have made to get yourselves through this economical mess.

I am very sorry to post this story around these special holidays but ................

This is the Real World and Facts are Facts!

The completion of City Center alone has put 5000 to 10,000 construction workers alone on the unemployment list.

Hang in there everybody, it's going to be a "Long Cold Winter"

Rick - Thank you for stopping by and I am so sorry I threw out a negative post but I needed to get this out there because it is ugly. As for television, I find most of the news, etc., full of lies and very depressing!

Jim - I try my best and I guess you could call it cause and effect, I find the only think pulling me down is working my construction job on projects in Las Vegas but the money is just to good to quit now!
