Anyone looking for a mall in Gilbert?

Gilbert is growing. New construction galore. As more and more people move into Gilbert the amount and number of retail outlets will also grow correspondingly to meet growing demand. A HOOOOOGE mall, in the form of the SanTan Village shopping center is set to open this fall per the East Valley Tribune. This mall will be based on 120 acres located at Williams Field Road and the Loop 202.

This mall has been in Gilbert's general plan as early as the 1980s but only in 2003 did residents approve a bond for said mall. The mall is expected to house approximately 130 "tenants" (aka shops/vendors etc.).

Do you know about any medical office buildings in that area that are interested in selling but not on the market?

We will check on some contacts about the shopping center. Is this shopping center going to be up for sale?

Kaushik, this sounds like a good addition to that community. Hopefully the new business that will move into it will be major contributors to the tax base of the town and lower the property tax for home owners.

Kaushik, I have to admit it, I'm always looking for a mall -- anywhere. This will only add to my list of must see places. :)

I think a nice mall in Gilbert would be a great addition. Even though I live in Chandler, I find myself heading east more and more often. Thanks for keeping us "in the loop". (Please keep us updated, too)
