I hope you and your family get the opportunity to participate in some of the wonderful activities that are planned around our city. During the holiday, please take a moment to remember those that are giving their lives to defend our country and may be separated from their family for extended periods of time. Remember, rocket and missle type fireworks have been banned due to the drought. Be careful when using fireworks because the dry grass can ignite into fire very quickly. I hope you and your family have a happy and safe Independence Day 2007!!
