CHECK THOSE HELMETS
Those of you who regularly visit my blog know I have two girls that play Fastpitch Softball. Our family is very busy with it most of the year. It has become a sport that our crazy family life revolves around, even for our two kids who don't play a sport. That's another subject.
My oldest daughter has a great coach who really cares about the girls and their love of the sport. This is something that can seem quite rare in youth sports today.
Below is a link he sent us all to view. A terrific and not so subtle reminder about how our children really think and perceive way beyond their years. Sadly, many parents don't think this is possible in children as you might read in the comments section below the video.
It really hit home for me given our experiences in travel softball and recreational league play over the past few years with our girls.
