My daughter and son-in-law are in the US Air Force.  They have only had to go over to the U.A.E. but that was bad enough.  While they were there, various people sent them care packages (they were there over the holidays) and it meant so much to them that perfect strangers would think about them.  You can imagine how the men and women stationed in Iraq or Afganistan would appreciate our attention.
