Christmas on Crooked Brook- Apex, North Carolina

By
Real Estate Agent with Raleigh Cary Realty

I was driving into the town of Apex last Saturday and noticed all the communities with beautiful holiday decorations on their entrance ways.  In the 8 years that the small community of Crooked Brook has been built, we homeowners have never decorated the entrance way, even though all of our homes are adorned with lights and wreaths.

Being in an unusually good Holiday mood, I decided to take it upon myself to bring Crooked Brook into the holiday spirit.

Having access to the new craft store AC Moore in Apex now, I stopped in and bought some inexpensive plain wreaths. By adding a large red bow and some small brightly colored ornaments, I had 2 wreaths in under an hour.

I emailed some of the Homeowner's Association Board members when it was done to let them know how they magically appeared on the sign, (and hope that nobody minded).

Everyone loves them! It was so easy and a little way for me to spread some Christmas cheer.

Linda--Good job!  I put a single wreath on my wagon wheel and thought my effort livened up my front yard.  We don't get much traffic, but I see it twice a day when I get the paper and later get the mail.  I like Liz's graphic, too.

Mary- A wreath on the wagon wheel- I can just picture it! Must be so nice.

Mary- Thanks for stopping in tonight. I'm feeling especially full of cheer this year, so spread some or giving some away is easy.
