The Partners Campaign is vitally important to the services the Lake Houston Family YMCA offers to the communities of Atascocita, Huffman, Humble, Kingwood, New Caney, Porter and surrounding areas. Here is what your contributions support:
After School Child Care Program A partnership with Humble ISD, this program provides a safe, positive environment after school to over 1,000 children a day. Your contribution helps to support families who are experiencing financial difficulties.
YMCA Youth Programs Over 250 families will participate in YMCA youth programs this year because of the generosity of donors to our annual Partners campaign. Programs include soccer, street hockey, basketball, baseball, flag football, volley ball, swimming and parent/child programs.
YMCA National Values Camp Supports sending young adults from the Lake Houston community to this teen leadership camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Elementary School Challenge
Participation in Bridge Fest is a positive healthy activity that not only will challenge your child's ability but also teach them the importance of helping their community.
The elementary school that has the highest percentage participation in Bridge Fest of their total school enrollment will receive a trophy to display at their school and a party at their school for those who participated.
