Do You Really Want The Cheapest Home Inspection?

By
Home Inspector with UTAH INFRARED Home and Building Inspections

I always find it quite amusing to see people trying to shop around for the cheapest Home Inspection. In A State like Utah where there are ZERO standards or qualifications required to be a home inspector than people should first be asking for qualifications and credentials before shopping for the lowest price.

Less than half of the States in the nation require any qualifications or certifications for someone to call themselves a Home Inspector. If anyone could call themselves a Dentist then would it be smart to call around and ask who would pull your tooth for the cheapest price or who had the best credentials and professional equipment to pull your tooth?

Using cutting edge technology and offering the most advanced inspection technology available cost the Home Inspector more money and in return they sometimes charge a bit more money. On average Infrared Home Inspectors are about $50 dollars higher than a regular flashlight "peek an poke" inspector. You get what you pay for!

I always say you get what you pay for. I dont look at cost first I look at service and qualifications and then cost.

Price shopping is human nature. But sometimes you get what you pay for. You should compare apples to apples whne comparison shopping.
