So You're Going to Sell It Yourself?!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams - BV 581856

I think that's WONDERFUL if you KNOW who you are selling to!!  If you have a family member or a friend that has had their eye on your home, then by all means, you can sell your own home without the assistance of a realtor.

On the other hand, if you don't have a ready buyer, why wouldn't you use a realtor?  A realtor is worth his/her weight in gold if you have a good one!

**They can market your home on multiple websites reaching a MUCH greater audience than you ever could.  I market my listings on www.har.com, www.chron.com, www.remax.com, www.remax-texas.com, www.realtor.comwww.activerain.com, and MORE!!  MOST buyers are doing their shopping on the internet nowadays.  I get lots of leads from my websites

**A realtor can make sure those who come through your home are serious buyers and not just curious or even worse --crooks looking to see what is in your home.  All my  "former For-Sale-By-Owners" have given me rave reviews!  I would be happy to pass along their contact info to you!  SO, let me do the work FOR you.  I will get your home SOLD in less time and for MORE money than you could.

If you would like more information on my marketing plan or information on home sales in your neighborhood, call me (or email), and I will be happy to assist you in reaching your real estate goals!!

Your satisfaction is my TOP priority!!

It's always interesting to see the FSBO s that do succeed - you're entirely right - it's mostly friends and family purchases.

I have seen many, many FOR SALE by OWNER signs that are taken down and then listed with a realtor.  Most people don't have the luxury of trying their luck at it for 6 months...and THEN hiring a realtor.  Unfortuately, a lot of people about to go into foreclosure try to sell it themselves...not knowing they could do a short sale.
