Vegas Bob runs into the Real Estate Fairy on Las Vegas Blvd today!

Well it happened again! I was taking some photographs along "The Strip" today in Las Vegas and you will never guess who I ran into? The Real Estate Fairy!

If you don't know who the Real Estate Fairy is take a look at this link ...........

You will never guess who sent Vegas Bob a email today? The Real Estate Fairy! (please read & bookmark)

The Real Estate Fairy and I went and had a cup of coffee and had a little chat about the RE Market and this is what she told me!

There are a large group of home buyers that are waiting around to see if the prices will go down anymore, but they are a little nervous because they don't want to see the interest rates go up.

She mentioned to me that it is a great time to purchase a home if you can get financed and keep your job, and or have enough saved in the bank to get you through your finances unemployed for a minimum of 6 months.

She also mentioned that the Banks will be dropping a "Mother Load" of homes in early Spring of 2010 and by mid Spring the asking prices will go up.

The Real Estate Fairy mentioned to me that she is very saddened by the Economy and the Real Estate Market and hopes it swings back soon!

The Real Estate Fairy would like to wish every one a "Merry Christmas" & "Happy New Year"

The real estate fairy will also tell the timid buyers...oops, you missed it again if they don't take advantage of this unique time and opportunity!

Bob, ah!  The real estate fairy!  But isn't that sort of the opposite of supply and demand?  If the banks dump a bunch of places on the market, how will that make prices go up?  This is what I get for hanging out with an economist!

Patricia you have a point there and I think what the Real Estate Fairy meant to say is in Spring the homes on the market will have a higher price tag then usual!

The Real Estate Fairy told me last year that there would be a "mother lode" of homes dropped on the market in the Spring of 2009, but that certainly didn't happy around here.

Happy December!

Hi Bob-

I have been speaking with the Real Estate Fairy as well and had received much the same message!  Things never stay stagnant...
