8 Comments on Staging A Short Sale....NOT like Lipstick......
Sally and David, while staging can always help make selling faster and often at a better price, many of my short sale clients are in no position to afford any serious staging services. We help them with the de-cluttering and some other advice as best we can.
Gabe....for us Staging is a FREE service...we have rooms of curtains, rugs, candles, lamps, etc, etc....we would NEVER ask or expect a short sale seller to pay for staging.
I love your short sale posts...i learn alot from you! By the way, have you ever had a short sale close when the seller is also filing chapter 13? We just got approval on the short sale from wamu, but still haven't gotten a case number on the bankrupcy side. The title company and buyer lender are not saying this will never close??
Best answered in e-mail....I just did.
Hi Sally:
No matter what type of circumstance is involved with a property, putting your best FACE forward...works!
Lipstick, eyeliner, mascara...it all counts!
You bet Toula....best face for me is always with a little color....mmmmm lipstick...liner, shadow...or window treatments, towels, flowers, candles...
This service certainly sets you apart from the competition! It shows how seriously you take your business and your clients are smart to make you part of their marketing team!
Thank you Sharon....I needed that today....Best holiday wishes to you and yours !
