Today, as I was going thru the Central Florida MLS to check on some homes in the greater Orlando area. I came across a couple of listings of homes priced at over $550K. What does the MLS listing tell us about these two listings? One would think that a listing of a $550K home there would be a lot to say, if you want to get someone really interested. Wrong, a line and a half of text. Nice Home, Owner Motivated, 5 bed 4 bath. tile in wet areas. Blah Blah Blah.
Next we look at the 5 pictures, not 10 but five. The first is the front of the home. There must have been a plane flying by that they wanted to get in the picture. Because there is more sky than home in this picture. What actually took the cake was the formal dining room. The formal dining room adorned with all sorts of stuff and the grand table with its folding chairs. Yes thats right, folding chairs. Clearly a case for, If you can not declutter the home, Move out and sell it empty. This home looked like it was being used as a daycare center. No wonder its been on the market over 300 days.
This could be a new agent, since MLS only shows they had one sale since Jan 06. But, what about the broker of the office they represent. No pride, no concern, no followup? I know brokers get busy and just can't follow up on everything. Thats BULL$%^#, if its your rep on the line you'll find time.
I just don't get it. What are they thinking?
Thanks
