Location:  Lighthouse in Point Lookout State Park

Cost: $50 per person

Maximum: 10 people

Reservations: Required

Time: 9 pm until 2 am

Date: February 27, 2010

Point Lookout Lighthouse Preservation Society (PLLPS) hosts Paranormal Nights to allow participants a chance to investigate the lighthouse at night. You must reserve and pay for your paranormal investigation in advance. The investigations run from 9 pm until 2 am. The cost is $50 per person, with a maximum of 10 participants per investigation. Please note that if you reserve less than 10 slots, the remaining slots may be sold to other groups or individuals, and you will have to share your time in the lighthouse. Reservations are non-refundable. All scheduled events are subject to cancellation for inclement weather; if in doubt, we recommend that you check the DNR website or call the park at (301) 872-5688 to confirm. If a Paranormal Night is cancelled due to inclement weather, your investigation will be rescheduled.

All funds raised from the Paranormal Night events are used by the Point Lookout Lighthouse Preservation Society (PLLPS), Inc. to provide educational programs and rehabilitation of the historical structures located at the Point Lookout Lighthouse Complex.

Directions from Baltimore:

From Rt. 695, follow Rt. 97 south to Rt. 3 south (Rt. 3 will become Rt. 301). Continue on Rt. 301 south into Upper Marlboro. Take Rt. 4 south and continue across the Solomons Island Bridge. At the first traffic light turn left onto Rt. 235 south. Follow Rt. 235 south to the blinking red light at the intersection with Rt. 5. Turn left onto Rt. 5 south and follow approximately 7 miles to Point Lookout State Park. After the park entrance, follow the road to land's end and the lighthouse.


Directions from the Rt. 301 Bridge:

Follow Rt. 301 north to Rt. 234 toward Leonardtown. When you reach the end of Rt.
234 at Rt. 5 turn right. Follow Rt. 5 south to Point Lookout State Park. After the park
entrance, follow the road to land's end and the lighthouse.
