It will be interesting to see what this home sells for. Such crazy times we are in. Our valley only has a few short sales, we are in like a real estate bubble here in Methow Valley where this is only a finger of private land surrounded by wilderness. Do you do a lot of auctions in Vancouver?
Mary - Not of this type. We have the usual auctions on the court house steps but this is one of the first auctions where banks are trying to get homes off of their books. I had several people register to participate, so we will see what happens on Thursday.
I think I have a short sale that thanks to the bank taking so long to decide went from $284,900 in value with an offer at that to a price of about $150,000 after two pipes broke today and flooded the house with over a 1/2 inch of water.
