Have you lost or forgotten about Series E Savings Bonds, that were purchased between 1941 and 1980? Perhaps they were bought for you as a child and you don't even remember having them. The U.S. Treasury has nearly $17 billion in unredeemed Series E Bonds!! They are not looking for you, SO you need to start your own search. If purchased after 1973 go to the Department of Treasury and type your Social Security number into the Treasury Hunt function. If before 1974 confirmation is a lot more difficult.
