Moo Hoooooo!OK. So now that the rating system has been changed...

Each year at the NAR trade show the Cyberprofessionals go around putting stickers up on the booths we think merit special attention that say "Cool Spot"... (look for them on Saturday at the trade show!) it's a great form of non verbal networking and we tend to be conservative in the application of this most esteemed honor :)

There are some excellent ideas that slip through the cracks on ActiveRain... maybe because it's hard to figure out how to respond... perhaps the post wasn't a masterwork of articulation and eloquence... but like an unstaged home it's got "good bones" Maybe we could have a "great idea" voting button too... letting others know that a certain post might warrant special attention... Not just a popular post... but one that spurs an "AHA!"

Great idea -- I like it!   I would also like to be able to forward a BLOG to someone...

Maybe once a month we vote on our favorite blog? I think Matt is kind of doing this already by featuring various blogs, right?

Sounds like a great idea. And it would be nice if we could get others out of their comfort box and look throughout the posts.

It would be also quite nice to know if a post was not "staged" properly but had "good bones."

I took this for you at a broker open yesterday....

Popular and good idea are two separate things.  I agree.

Your idea is kind of like awarding our own gold star.  If we could give out one or two a month we would be very selective.  Though we do already have a voting opportunity with the sliding scale.

Rich - thanks for the comments -I'm thinking more about specific posts that make you go AHA! I should be doing that... or I'm going to do that!

Gina - There are lots examples of "properly staged posts" some of us (me) could use a little syntax help... but plug along anyway  :)

Maureen - you are awesome! Love the cow. The sliding scale is much better than before... but we award folks for interesting posts that we like for many different reasons, not necessarily AHA's!  I'm thinking with a separate option we would have a search-able repository for great business ideas..

Thanks for the comments!

For our cyberprofessional meeting in November we are actually considering a HOLY Sh** award for a really really great idea!

Linda - I thought Ira gave me the first of those awards a few CyberPro meetings ago. Does this mean it will be annual?  Spontaneous is probably better, so that they will really be HS.

Great idea - it seems that I don't have enough time and miss great posts - I vote for an "AHA" button.

Alexander - you are right that the bookmark supplies you with your own way of remembering posts, but you don't really get to share them that way.

Ines - I miss a lot as well. There are so many people involved now that it's gotten difficult to watch everything.
