Winter's Playground

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker, 170 N Main Street, New City NY 10956

Winter is finally here.   We've had our first snowfall for the season in Suffern, NY.  I had somehow hoped that our unseasonably warm weather would last well past the end of the year, but it seems that the first snowfall brought the second not too far behind it and the cold weather with it.

First snow of winter

It seems like winter is here to stay.  Though I love the way the trees and bushes look with that coating of white snow, I hate the cold and the loneliness of the deserted play areas.

Abandoned playground

Though I love the change of the seasons and the raw beauty of the snow, I hate the cold.

WInter's here

Now if only it weren't a package deal and we could figure out how to get one without the other!

Steve - not quite powdered sugar.  More like rock candy.

Rita - The first snowfall is exciting.  Enjoy yours when it comes.

Heather - Boring sun and warmth all year long?

Melinda - Aslong as it's just a little, it's fine.

Leah, I am afraid that we're in the same boat!  I also like having the Season, but could do with temperatures that are a little warmer!

Tony & Darcy - A real dilemma - Love the season, but hate the cold.

Jennifer - You''re probably right.

Hi Leah - Those pics remind me of growing up in Wisconsin. Now that I live in southern Nevada it's nice to see the snow online once in awhile, and even better that I don't have to shovel it!

John, RIght now, southern Nevada sounds enticing.  I don't mind the snow so much, as long as there isn't tons to shovel, it's the cold I mind.  Enjoy the online version and sunny Nevada.

Very pretty, Leah, but that word "cold" is why I live in Florida! Pretty pictures, thank you.

Toni, the older I get, the more attractive Florida weather becomes.  For right now, I still enjoy the change of seasons too much to give that up.

I enjoy the snow as long as it is warm inside and someone else is paying the heating bill :). We go north every January for a week and it does snow but after a week we have had enough I guess.

Charles - I enjoy the snow as long as someone else is taking care of the shoveling and clean-up.
