Hey Maggie ~ Thanks for the visit, yep we have plenty to do around town. This one I love, because it's mid-week, it's such a nice break and the kids are involved. They can play at the playround next to the gazebo or swim at our plunge. They can be themselves and wear themselves out.

Marlene ~ The concerts are always fun, a time to kick-back and relax.

  1. Cyndee~ I love these too. Especially the fact that they are free and for the entire family. It seems like family activities are sooooo expensive today. One of the local churches sells refreshments if you don't have time to fix a picnic. This is such a great way to kick-back and enjoy the outdoors and see old friends. We've done it for years.

Lynda- Concerts in the parks are great fun to plan with family and friends. In the Denver area, we went to Wendy Woo a couple of weeks ago and are headed to Flap 'n Jacks later this week. I'm not even sure what kind of music they play, but an evening in the park with a glass of wine and good friends is hard to beat.

I love the activities offered by smaller towns - you get that neighborly warm feeling so many people look for.  Looks very inviting!

Ines ~ Great hearing from you! I agree there are lot's of fun and I especially like that it's free for the entire family. Seems like everything is so darn expensive these days, so this is a great alternative.

Hi Lynda, It looks like you are the Orange County Realtor of choice.  You know where all the fun stuff is to do!  Is Brea related to La Brea?  Perhaps one and the same?  I used to live in CA but it was a long long time ago.

Lynda,

It looks like those free concerts add to the quality of life for Brea home owners.  Our town has a similar concert series on Thursdays - I ought to go and write a blog about it.

Joanne ~ Thanks for the kind words and I think I could say the same thing about you in Colorado. I've read about your clients events in Summit County, you really plan some creative things! Great work.

Rita ~ Our little community has a real "small town" feeling is many ways, yet with bigger city benefits, thanks for the nice visit.
