St Pete Beach will open its new 11,000 square foot Recreation Center this Friday, July 6th. The ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 6:00 p.m. followed by an Open House of the entire complex.
On Saturday, July 7th, enjoy free entry into the city's first public swimming pool. There will be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy with the newly built playground, and bounce houses in the new waterfront open park. From 6:00-8:00 p.m. you can enjoy a free blues concert by Sandy Atkinson and the MoDeans, while enjoying free ice cream provided by the Hurricane Restaurant.
