Important Huge Recall!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Exit 1 Stop Realty

On the news this morning, I heard there's a giant recall of window blinds. Please check it out on the internet, not only for your own families, but also to educate your customers... especially with "window treatments included" in the contract. It could save a child's life! The cords on the blinds pose a hazard to children who get their necks caught up in them. I know this danger alert has been around for quite some time, but this massive recall should encourage us to sound the alarm again. Apparently, it includes Roman, drop down, verticals, etc. We can never be too cautious when it comes to those precious little ones! I have a 2 year old grandson... you better believe I'll be checking. Mine are new, so I think they're okay, but I'd like to have them checked anyway. Please google it if you haven't already seen the recall alert.

Great post Margo.....I just closed on a listing and the blind cords had the little safety stop, but the cords need to be shortened A LOT!!!  So, I'll call the new owners and advise them as such......Thanks again.

Great, Lewis. I think this recall is important enough that we should all be proactive by alerting our customers. Thanks for doing that.

I did see this on the news. Very alarming information. I will definitely let my clients know.  Thanks for the suggestion.
