This is a poem that my wife recieved from a friend of hers.  The author is unknown.

Keep in mind that my wife works in the title business and I'm in real estate... I wonder what she's trying to tell me?

WHY AM I THE WAY I AM?

Last night as I lay sleeping

I died or so it seemed,

Then I went up to heaven

But only in my dream

Up there St. Peter met me

Standing at the pearly gates,

He said, "I must check your record

Please stand here and wait."

He turned and said, "Your record

is covered with terrible flaws,

On earth I see you rallied

For every losing cause."

"I see that you drank alchohol

And smoked and used drugs too,

Fact is, you've done everything

A good person should never do.

We can't have people like you up here.

Your life was full of sin."

Then he read the last of my record

Took my hand and said, "Come In!"

He led me to the BIG BOSS and said,

"Take her in and treat her well

She used to work in The Title Industry!

She's done her time in hell!"

I thought it was funny and probably part true since they have to deal with all of us Realtors!  Sometimes we can be just a little demanding.

I think that could apply to Realtors who have mainly worked with first time home buyers.

That was pretty good.  And I think it could go for anyone working in real estate related businesses.  We've all done our time, or we will at some point.

My wife not only thinks it's funny but also true!

My title people should go directly to heaven.  The hours they work and the craziness they go through is amazing!

That's really neat.  I'm going to share it with my title people to put a smile on their face.

The poem made me day!  I have worked in the title business for about 15 years now...it has changed sooo much over the last couple of years...I use to enjoy my work and the stress....but everyday I contemplating getting out of the business....this poem confirmed that so many other people deal with the same type of stress!!!!
