There is 13 new listings that have hit Santa Claritaand more than half are foreclosures or corporate owned. For those of you that thought we were going to be flooded with foreclosures when the moratorium was lifted I guess you can tell by now that the banks are only going to let them trickle out at this point. It's refreshing to see that today's numbers of new listings in Santa Clarita is tipped to the foreclosure side. On this list is a Masters located in the prestigious West-ridge area of Valencia. I remember a time it was hard to find this popular model under 1.3MIL, now it's listed for only $799K. The least expensive new listing in Santa Clarita is a one bedroom condo in the Confetti tract for only $89K. Probably the best find would be a detached 4 bedroom home in North Valencia in the Monteverde tract for only $380K. Which ever your delight make sure you have an experienced agent protecting your side of the transaction. Foreclosure agents work to protect the banks not the people buying there "as is" properties.
