WORDLESS WEDNESDAY: Schweitzer Mountain finally gets hit!

We were graced with an early opening this year but the famous Schweitzer Mountain Powder never materialized.  Well, I woke up to 10" of the white stuff in my driveway this morning and booked up to the Mountain as quickly as possible!  (I was slightly delayed by a "snow-blowing" obligation).  I'm heading out now for a few turns...here's a scene from my office door - I LOVE IT!

Update:  We are now in a full-blown blizzard!

Kent, what a great place for an office, so spectacular. I hope you had fun skiing, and glad you pulled out the snowblower before you left the house, LOL.

And are you sure you want to be letting everyone in on Sandpoint? After your last post I was thinking you might be right, keep it to yourself, LOL.

Beautiful, nope, spectacular. Sandpoint is one place I really want to get to.

Hi Andrea - I hear you.  I'm wrecking everything we've got going here in Sandpoint.  I just have to keep the excitement to myself.

Hi Mary - It was a good day but I must confess, it was not easy.  The snow was HEAVY, the fog was dense and the wind was crazy on top.  It was like I was on a major mountain expedition that went through multiple climate zones...35 degrees on the bottom and 15 degrees on top.  I do love it, though.

Hey Gab - Yes, I took a break from my "real estate duties" and took some runs.  It was great, but challenging conditions.  Get up here and check it out!
