•  Mistakes are the natural result of progression

•—  You can't progress unless you make mistakes

•—  Learn from your mistakes

•—  Move on

•  Don't kid yourself - we are what we DO, not what we SAY

•  Move forward - You cannot  "steer"  an object at rest

•  Embrace Education

•  WELCOME CHANGE AND MAKE IT YOUR VERY BEST FRIEND!

As your confidence increases, you will find yourself taking more risks.  More risks = more failures.  Wise women know that mistakes or failures are the natural result of progress.  Think what would have happened if the Wright Brothers had given up after their first, second or third try at flying!  When you fail, don't beat yourself up, but see it as one step closer to the solution.  We seem to learn more from our failures than we do from our successes, so embrace it!  Remember, planning is paramount, but execution is key!  Don't sit on your hands because you fear failure.  Wise women know we are what we DO, not what we say.  Embrace education and change.  We are in the middle of an historical shift in our society similar to the Industrial Revolution.  Life as we have known it is changing every day.  To remain competitive, you must educate yourself and embrace change.  You want to be one of those people who makes things happen rather than wonder "what happened?"!  Change should be your very best friend until the day you leave this planet.  Wise women know that life is an adventure and all possibilities are to be explored.  And don't forget the sharing part.  Sharing the knowledge makes the world a better place for all.  Remember, keep moving forward - you cannot steer an object that is at rest!  Tomorrow:  What does all this mean?  * Based on Suze Orman's book: Women and Money, Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny

I enjoy your series of articles. I agree that every experience is a learning process and one that we can build our knowledge from.  Too bad we cannot share all our wisdon with others!

Karen - Very nice series. I will have to go and read the others. Education and implementation will definitely make us better and stronger with a few trial and errors along the road. Okay maybe a little more than a few (lol). Getting there a step at a time.
