Hello folks,
Spent last night and early this morning walking the beach. May be my last time for a few days since storms are scheduled to start rolling into Southwest Florida later today. Left the house at 6:30am to head out to Lover's key to do some low tide shelling. yesterday and today were to be the "lowest" low tides for the next few months, which is a bummer because LOW tides are an excellent time to collect shells and see some aquatic wildlife.

Below are a couple spiny starfish that have been left "high & dry" from the dropping tide. They will recover when the tide comes back in. These guys are a bit "creepy" looking as they try to move along the sand to get back in the water.
