What Do You See?

I see an end to a year that had lots of ups and downs.....I see something I look forward to every year....I see a Tennessee Christmas that's always awesome...just as I'm sure yours will be. I see promise....I see hope that 2010 will be a great year for all of us.

This will come as a surprise to a lot of you but......I believe in Santa Clause! I believe in the hope he brings to kids everywhere in the world....but most of all I believe in the true meaning of Christmas.

When I was growing up.....I grew up on a farm and every Christmas Eve my Aunt Rosemary would take all us kids out to the barn where the sheep and cattle were bedded down and we would lay in the hay as she would read us the Christmas story from the book of Matthew. Then we would go back into our home and have Christmas as one big family.....I will never forget those days and will cherish them always!

I hope everyone this year takes the time to remember the true meaning of Christmas and help to keep it strong!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GREAT 2010!!!!

Remember that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take ....but by the number of moments that take our breath away!

Hopefully it will be positive breathtaking moments as you describe and not the negative brethtaking moments that we have seen as our country moves further from the ideals of the founding fathers.

Rob, It's sad that so many of our children will not experience the country Christmas, it is a time to give more than receive...and understand that concept...not just complete the wish list. Nice sentiments have a great holiday and new year.
