Swimming Pool Closed at Southridge Rec. Center in Highlands Ranch

Southridge Rec. Center children's pool and the activity pool along with lazy river is closed for about 12 weeks starting Monday Dec. 21, 2009. The pool deck area is being worked on and it is estimated to take about 12 weeks, which put the opening of the pool to March 2010. The fitness pool at Southridge is going to remain open and you can hop into the pools at any of the other three Highlands Ranch Rec. Centers during this time.

Highlands Ranch Community Association is going to post updates on their website. You can also find the pool schedules for Eastridge, Westridge and Northridge Rec. Centers on the association website (same link).

At least yours is going to reopen. A few of ours have closed and because of the economy some of these pools aren't going to reopen and that really is a shame.

We have kids and one grandchild in Highlands Ranch.  When the pool opens back up, the little one will be almost two, and ready to learn how to swim.  Thanks for the post.
