New Home of Jaki and Kinn, DVC Specialists.  What is a notary public in England?    When you get your final documents for closing of a DVC sell from http://www.resalesdvc.com/,   you have to get some of them notarized,  which means a notary signs  the document and puts a notary seal saying that you appeared before him with identification and signed the document.   A solicitor does this also. This is necessary for the documents to be recorded in the county records here in Orlando (http://www.timesharetitleandmore.com/), passing ownership to the buyer.  I have no idea what a notary charges in England but it is not a large sum of money.  You can look in your phone book under notary public  or call your solicitor and see if he does it.  I am guessing  around 50 pounds or less.   They charge about $12 here in the US.       Jaki and Kinn
