If life gives you lemons make lemonade. If the day brings a blizzard, enjoy the rest!!

We are all braced for the upcoming blizzard.

Errands already run, fortified with snacks from Trader Joes and lentil soup on the stove.

Fire burning in the fireplace, both kids home, board games and Wii at the ready.

Sometimes a forced day off is a very good thing indeed.

Time to reground yourself. Take a deep breath and realize there is more to life than real estate.

To all of us on the East Coast - enjoy the snow and the day off.

Then once it all passes, if you are looking to buy a home on Long Island, give me a call because I am full speed ahead once again...

Snuggle up by the fire and break out the hot chocolate & games, no customers today, its a great day to spend with family. We don't have to shovel snow any more since we moved to Florida, don't miss it either but there is such an awesome homie feeling it gives you.

Hi Donna ~ I made the mistake this afternoon of pulling into some stores which I discovered belatedly included a Trader Joe's. It was definitely the hot spot of the day - the line to get out of that parking lot was sooooo long - worse than the day before Thanksgiving or New Years Eve. The ultimate stock up for the storm shopping destination I guess. Your description of soup and snacks sounds mighty appealing.

I just want to add that I am very, very jealous of you...I desperately miss Trader Joes! We went to the one near the Smithhaven Mall back in June when we were in NY for a funeral, I wish my suitcases weren't so full :-)
