Hilarious! But somehow I find myself siding with the "All dogs go to Heaven" crowd! Afterall, some dogs are more saintly than some people I know:-)

This is the most fantastic blog, it is so funny. I laughed and laughed. I do not know if AR gives "feature" for non-real estate stuff, but this blog sure deserves it, and I will mark it for feature.
My take on it: maybe dogs go with their masters?
I guess everyone in both churches forgot what DOG spells backwards....

Melinda, now this is one of the more amusing things I've seen here at AR. In my opinion it seems that one is slightly ahead of the market or at least is not limiting/narrowing it's market share!!

Boy this is a tough one and no one knows for sure ! But having dogs most of my life , I hope the Catholics are right !
It's not heaven to me if my dogs are not there to greet me.

What a find!! It is interesting these two churches find the time to bicker and they are both, well lets see what the bible says. Rev. 20:6. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. So there is work to do for people that are going to heaven. No mention of animals going to heaven in the bible.
What about animals, do they have a soul? This is what the bible says: And God said, Let the earth bring forth living souls after their kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth, after their kind. Gen.1:24. — Darby Bible Translation
Here is another translation: And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds, domestic animal and moving animal and wild beast of the earth according to its kind.’ And it came to be so.” Gen. 1: 24 In this passage, fish, domestic animals, and wild beasts are all referred to by the same word—“souls.”

I agree Cheryl! I am definitely expecting my dog, and cat to greet me in Heaven! Just look into their eyes, they have souls.

If I get to Heaven, I sure hope the dogs I've owned are there, too. I prefer them to a lot of people.
How funny! None of us know either way since we haven't gotten there yet, but I'll be hopeful about it :)
