Along with San Diego County home sales being up year over year for seventeen consecutive months, and the median price being up or flat for ten consecutive months, good news has also arrived in the unemployment line.
The unemployment rate in California has been climbing since January 2007, reaching a high of 12.5% in October 2009. November 2009 saw it fall to 12.3%.
In San Diego County, the unemployment rate reached a high of 10.7% in October 2009, falling to 10.3% in November.
It's common knowledge that unemployment figures lag the rest of the economy, so perhaps this is the sign that the future looks much brighter. Soon we can start "California dreaming" once again!

Boy -- California can certainly use some good news! I am hoping that this trend continues in California and elsewhere.
