Hi Gail, the Hubble has inspired several paintings I've produced over the years. Every time I see one of the images I want to start painting. My last one was of the eagle nebula transformed into a painting of Guan Yin. You can see it a few clicks down on my art site: artandzen.com
Gail that sound like it would be an amazing time. I bet they get a big turn out for that.
Frank - Beautiful painting. I like the concept of the painting as well.
George - Have you ever seen any of the photos from the Hubbell space telescope? I saw a show on it once and it was awe inspiring.
Gail I have only seen a few on TV, but even on TV they were as you put it inspiring.
Gail, you really have some neat educational opportunities at your library.
George - I'm glad you have had a chance to see some of those amazing photos.
Sharon - They work really hard at creating a full program for adults and children. Our library was closed for renovations for five years and we really missed it. It's been completely renovated and is absolutely gorgeous.
Gail, I was in my public library the other day and noticed the events that were posted, but was almost scared to take some notes to post about them. What you've doen with your community ebents here is nothing short of inspiring, and I think I'll take the courage to start posting more about my communities' hodge-podge of events as they come along.
