Here I am in Colorado where the temperatures are reaching 55 degrees, the snow has melted from my front yard and I am walking around in just a fleece enjoying the sunshine. My sister in Baltimore called to say they had 30+ inches of snow and my son in Virginia was digging out of 26 inches of the white stuff.
We celebrated Christmas yesterday with my business partner, Robin (Royal Kingdom Associates), his wife Stanzi, my son, Josh and his lovely girlfiend, Courtney. My husband, Jim, smoked a 22 lb. turkey which we served with gourmet mac and cheese (to die for). For dessert, we featured "Chocolate Nemesis" which was so rich only a sliver was necessary to send you over the edge!
I just want to say Happy Holidays to all of the wonderful people I have gotten to know through ActiveRain. I look forward to staying connected in 2010 and wish you all a prosperous New Year!
